Dr. Amanda Johns was born and raised in West Virginia. She completed her undergraduate studies at Xavier University before earning her medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her dermatology residency at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery in Virginia, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year.

Dr. Johns specializes in general medical dermatology and is committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for patients of all ages. She has spent the early years of her career with River Ridge Dermatology, a trusted Virginia practice with 15 years of service in the region, and is excited to help lead its expansion into Lexington, Kentucky.

Outside of work, Dr. Johns enjoys watching sports, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband and their rescue dog, Bear.
